Colossians 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer being watchful in it with thanksgiving...
It's been another week of ministry in Summersville. This week I want to share a few awesome praises and a few urgent prayer requests.
Praises:
- More opportunities to travel with the Nicholas Co HS soccer teams to their away soccer games! It has been so fun. Also, it has been a great way to keep getting to know and build memories with these ladies!
- Today (Wednesday) I got to help with school pictures, so I was in the school when the kids came and still there when they left! It was a really good opportunity to see many students and to be in their world. I hope and pray for many more opportunities like today. I enjoyed getting to see students in the school throughout the day and to meets some new faces! Pray that the seeds of today will produce fruit in the future.
- I'm continuing to meet more adults in the community. I have also been able to spend some quality time with women in the community who also have a heart for Jesus and for kids. It's been a blessing!
Prayer Requests:
- The broken lives of these students. Pray for conversations to truly get to know them deeper and share the truth of Christ with them. That I would have the heart to rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15).

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.
