Colossians 4:2-6 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ., on account of which I am in prison – that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
Friends,
Thanks for your prayers for Summersville Young Life! I am so thankful for the opportunities that God has provided this past week with my high school friends.
At campaigners on Sunday, we had five girls and we talked about Philippians 4:4-9. It was really great to talk about the difference between living a life of worry versus a life of joy. We all have things to be anxious about, but it’s how we handle those difficulties and stressors. Do we worry or do we pray? Do we complain or do we rejoice? Do we live in constant anxiety or constant peace that God desires to give us?
Yesterday I took a road trip on the bus to Charleston with the NCHS girls’ soccer team! It was so fun! I also got a picture of the presence of Young Life in the state while down there. I saw three girls involved in Young Life at George Washington HS at their soccer practice and Hoover Young Life club was at the McDonalds where our group stopped to eat! Its very exciting to be apart of something big in this state!

Pray this week for wisdom and provision about when to start NCHS Young Life club and for many kids from NCHS to come to Fall Weekend (Nov 11-13).
Thanks again,
