I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you again for your support and prayers! There are three blessings I would like to share with you this week.
| My friend Kelsey and I in the NCHS student section at Friday nights game against Logan HS |
Last week, I saw and talked to many kids while attending a JV football game, soccer game, cheerleading tumbling practice, volleyball scrimmage, and the first home football game! I am getting to see many of the same kids over and over again at the different events. It is a blessing to build consistency with them. I have been keeping a list of names of the kids I meet and have met almost 50 kids at the high school since I moved to Summersville! I do not want to depend only on numbers to measure success or progress, but it shows that opportunities have been available and it excites me for the many opportunities ahead to continue to know these and others students at NCHS events. It has been so refreshing to be in the same town as the high school where I am leading. After traveling over 40 minutes one way, multiple times a week to Grafton to see kids, driving 10 minutes to the school is amazing! Pray for Grafton leaders, Sarah, Alex, Rebecca, and Kurtis to have the energy and endurance to drive to Grafton each week!
In addition to the Grafton leaders - pray for the Grafton 2011 Alumni who are now involved in Young Life at WVU! It has been so awesome and encouraging to hear that they are choosing to continue to grow and follow Jesus now at WVU! Here is a picture of 6 of them at the YL tailgate before the WVU-Marshall game.

Also, thanks to many of you, my support raising is almost complete! Praise the Lord! I have been amazed by the generosity of those who have chosen to give the Summersville Young Life! Thank you for joining this adventure with me.
Have a blessed week :)
